Billy Paul passes away (24 April 2016)

Billy Paul was born Paul Williams on 1 December 1934. He was best known for the 1972 song “Me and Mrs. Jones.”

Prince passes away (21 April 2016)

Prince_PurpleRainImagePrince Rogers Nelson (born 7 June 1958) was found dead today at his home in Chanhassen, Minnesota.

He started charting on the music scene in 1978. His height in music sales and airplay was seen in the early to mid 80s with albums like 1999 and Purple Rain, the latter which was a motion picture release starring himself in the lead role (He would also lead in “Under a Cherry Moon”). He released two albums as recently as 2015 (HITnRUN Phase One and HITnRun Phase Two, his 38th and 39th albums respectively)

He was also musically involved with many artists over his long career.
